2019 Summer Hiatus

Skye's The Limit Publishing is a family/woman-owned and operated enterprise. What that means, is when there are family emergencies, our Mother-Daughter publishing team is affected. We have been on a roller coaster since May 29 when Keith (Husband/Dad) suffered a ruptured Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm which also triggered Abdominal Compartment Syndrome. After 35 days in the hospital, he came home and has been recovering with home care and outpatient OT/PT.  Just when we can see light at the end of this tunnel, our beloved Kenny (brother-in-law/uncle) suffered cardiac arrest on September 13 and did not survive and his memorial is later this week.

STL has several projects in the works, plus marketing activities for our latest completions. We appreciate our audience and author's patience. We're looking forward to releasing a few new titles before the winter Holidays.

Please stay tuned!

March 25 - commemorates the Triangle Shirtwaist Company Fire.

On March 25, 1911, a fire broke out in the building and due to factory bosses locking the doors on the 9th floor to keep out union organizers, trapped workers perished...jumping from windows to their deaths. One hundred forty six people died that day, some as young as 14. Most of them women and immigrants. This fire represents a pivotal time in labor laws and we remind ourselves what we are fighting for every day.

Chris Llewellyn's "Fragments from the Fire" is an award-winning and poignant account of that day 106 years ago. Now back in print for its 30th anniversary with historical updates and contemporary commentary. This volume of poetry and essays keep the movement alive for global economic injustice.
